My Solid Inbox
I was born in Uruguay, and I currently reside in Wiesbaden, Germany.
My pronouns are she/her/hers.
- I am or was involved in the following projects in different capacities (see my CV for more info):
I work mainly with web technologies, but I dabble into various other things (see my CV for more details). At the moment I am employed part-time, and also working independently on dokieli, which fills up a significant portion of my time with infinite fun and rabbit holes.
-
I am an ethical vegan and anti-speciesist. I love cooking vegan food (see my vegan food blog ethicalvegan.org), and trying out new restaurants, especially while traveling around.
I am also super interested in (vegan) nutrition, and spend lots of my free time researching on these topics.
-
My body craves movement, and I take great pleasure in it whether it's running, hiking, gardening (I grow my own veggies - usually chilli peppers - and herbs), going to the gym, yoga, dancing, swimming.
-
I believe technology should be a means to an end. My work is motivated by a desire to prevent harm and improve people's lives. Much of my work revolves around empowering people to control their content, data, and identities on the web. You can read more about my work on my CV or my blog.
-
When I'm not doing any of the above, you can find me on my bean bag reading, or trying out a new coffee place wherever I am. I enjoy all sorts of music, and movies, especially horror or comedy.
Other things I enjoy, in no particular order and by no means an exhaustive list: home DIY projects, crocheting (I love making amigurumis), learning languages, museums, sourdough and fermentation in general (there's always something fermenting or sprouting in my kitchen), re-arranging my living room, bookshops and libraries, empty beaches, birds, summertime.
Writing
I have been writing since I have memory, whether it's journals, novels, poems, love letters. Some of that makes its way here.

How to give better feedback
- 12/25/2025
I have noticed that a lot of people struggle with giving feedback, or at least giving it in an effective and empathetic manner. The "feedback culture", where everything is open for criticism and can forever be improved, is great in some aspects, as it harbors collaboration and it helps to improve the content or products we create, but it also has major drawbacks like:
